The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is the P.D.O. of the grape variety of the homonymous region, loved and exported all over the world. It is also one of the wines most consumed and appreciated by wine estimators and is a historic vine, present in Abruzzo since time immemorial, even if only from the seventeenth century began to spread with this name.
It is characterized by its fruity aroma, with a hint of slightly sour blackberry and currant, mixed with Mediterranean spices. Another characteristic is the unmistakable aroma of licorice, a plant abundantly present in central Italy, and amarascate. In the end the almond smell can be the right closure of its structure.

Rich red-coloured wine with purplish hints, blackberry and currant scents stand out from its fruity bouquet as well as pleasant spicy notes of leather and pepper. Its taste is harmonic, full-bodied, soft and well-structured.
